Textured Seascapes

These textured pieces are born from the quiet, powerful magic of the Pacific coast at dusk and dawn. I love that fleeting, soft moment just after the sun dips below the horizon, when the sky turns to pastel and the world feels entirely still.

I sculpt these original ocean paintings using thick layers of impasto, blending local Californian sand and tiny seashells directly into the canvas. They are three-dimensional landscapes meant to be felt and touched just as much as they are seen. To me, the coastal birds soaring through these warm skies are quiet messengers of freedom. They make the skies feel like a gentle hug, inviting you to step right onto the shore, breathe in the calm, and feel 100% alive.
