Broad-Tailed Hummingbird | Wings of Joy
Wings of Joy — Broad-Tailed Hummingbird
Inspired by the hummingbirds that return to our gardens and balconies each season, this piece is a celebration of the joy they bring to ordinary days. Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, they somehow fill a whole garden with life — and often feel less like birds than cherished visitors.
Painted originally in oil, the Wings of Joy collection is now offered as a museum-quality print on fine art paper or canvas, made to order and finished to last a lifetime.
The Print
Each piece is crafted with care to preserve every detail of the original painting — professional Giclée printing with vibrant, fade-resistant pigments, so your art stays museum-quality for generations.
Fine Art Paper — printed on heavyweight 100% cotton rag, acid-free paper with a lovely texture and a premium velvet finish.
Museum Canvas — printed on heavyweight canvas, then hand-stretched over a durable 1.5″ deep solid wood frame with clean wrapped edges, closely resembling the look and feel of an original painting.
Framing & Sizing
Fine Art Paper is available unframed — ready to slip into your own frame — in a range of sizes from the dropdown above.
Museum Canvas is available two ways: as a minimalist gallery wrap with finished sides, or suspended inside a contemporary natural-wood floating frame. The floating frame adds a slim border around the canvas — for example, a 10″×10″ canvas finishes at roughly 11″×11″, and a 14″×14″ at roughly 15″×15″.
Ready to hang. Every gallery wrap and floating frame arrives fully finished, with hanging wire already installed.
Made to order. Each piece is created just for you — please see our shipping information for current timing.

Your artwork is handled with the great care to ensure it reaches your doorstep in pristine condition:
• Unframed prints smaller than 8" x 10": Packaged flat in sturdy flat mailers.
• Unframed prints larger than 8"x10: Carefully rolled and shipped in durable triangular boxes to prevent rolling and transit damage.
• Framed Prints: Securely wrapped in professional protective cushioning and shipped in shipping boxes.
Care Instructions: Your print is made with archival materials for long-lasting quality. For best preservation, avoid direct sunlight and high humidity.
Unframed prints may arrive with a natural curl due to the heavy fine art paper and rolled transit. This can be easily remedied by gently rolling the print in the opposite direction (one print at a time) on a clean, smooth surface before framing.
